2. Transcript of final grades and state examinations – both in English and the original language. Both copies need to be verified with a notary stamp and signature, and apostilled or verified by the Foreign Affairs ministry or relevant of your country and the Embassy of Latvia closest to you!
3. Your high school diploma if it’s issued separately – both in English and the original language. Both copies need to be verified with a notary stamp and signature, and apostilled or verified by the Foreign Affairs ministry or relevant of your country and the Embassy of Latvia closest to you!

You must take the original entry qualification documents with you when you finally go to the university.

Applicants who have obtained previous education in English in one of the bellow listed countries do not need to provide separate language proficiency: • Australia • The Bahamas • Canada • Ireland • New Zealand • St Vincent and the Grenadines • United Kingdom • United States of America Internationally recognized foreign language certificate does not have to be presented if the foreigner has acquired secondary education in a country of the EU and the EEA or in the Swiss Confederation and in his secondary education certificate is included an assessment of foreign language skills, which are comparable to at least level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The dental curriculum leads to the dentist degree, and forms the basis for specialist education or scientific (PhD) studies. The aim of the study programme is to prepare qualified specialists with theoretical and practical skills appropriate to commence independently practicing general dentistry.

The study program has been developed according to EU Directive2005/36/EC of mutual recognition of qualifications of health care professionals, directly related to the guidelines of Association of Dental Education in Europe.

Successful graduates of the study program have employment and self-employment opportunities based on professional qualification. The possibilities of joining the oral health care centers or private dental clinics or creating own practices are available as soon as professional certificate is obtained.
