Applicants for Master degree studies are required to have completed Bachelor degree or higher professional education comprising at least 3 years of full time studies providing access to Master’s level study programmes.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Latvian.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. More information available HERE

The Master’s degree study programme „European Studies” is carried out by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in collaboration with The Centre for European and Transition Studies. This inter-disciplinary academic programme offers students the possibility to study European economic, political and legal space, to acquire deeper knowledge of European integration process and to analyse EU functional principles, procedures and major policies beyond disciplinary boundaries. The Programme allows specialisation in EU law, trade, energy issues, migration, regional and social dimensions, and external relations. The teaching staff consists of high level national and international academics and practitioners with extensive experience in the relevant areas from Latvia, EU institutions, partner universities in Europe and overseas represent teaching staff of the programme.
The full-time degree programme covers two academic years. Classes are in the evenings of working days from 6.15pm till 9.30pm.
