Application fee | €141 one-time The application fee consists of a 100 € registration fee and a 41 € payment for education documents recognition from the Academic Information centre of Latvia. Application fee is non-refundable. Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Applicants for Master degree studies are required to have completed Bachelor degree or higher professional education comprising at least 3 years of full time studies in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Physics, Engineering or other related fields of Social Sciences. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Latvian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Applicants must upload education documents in original language, as well as translations into English. Diplomas and transcripts issued outside EU must be legalized with a legalization stamp or Apostille. Language requirements | English Applicants must prove their English language knowledge. University accepts the following international language tests:
University can provide an English language test for additional payment (97.50 EUR) – Only for spring 2020 intake. If your previous studies have been obtained in English but in the country where English is not native language, then you have to present an official letter from your previous educational institution (secondary school, etc.) where is stated that all your studies were in English (medium of instruction is English), and you have to pass interview where the University of Latvia will evaluate your language skills. Other requirements | At least 1 reference(s) should be provided. At least two years of work experience in the field of business or economics. Applicants must pass the entrance examination in International Economics. Decision on enrolment will be made by the Commission on the basis of the entrance examination results. |

Overview
The study programme is designed to meet the versatile learning needs of business person and to address managerial issues relevant to doing business, also incorporating the necessary basics of business. The programme concentrates on more detailed aspects of international economics, marketing, management and finance. Degree requirements have been designed to provide practical knowledge and training for future business executives. This master programme is an international study programme executed by University of Latvia in cooperation with foreign teaching staff. After the graduation it is possible to take doctoral studies.
The full – time degree programme covers two academic years. Classes are in the evenings of working days from 6.15pm till 9.30pm.
Career opportunities
The programme is oriented towards the preparation of higher-level managers in any sphere of activity, and all the necessary preconditions for a successful career in international business are created for anyone who has successfully completed the programme. The programme has been developed in co-operation with several foreign partner universities that have experience in the implementation of similar professional Master study programmes.
